What Are Consumer Directed Services?

ALL YOURS Home Health Services, LLC (ALL YOURS) provides Consumer Directed Services (CDS). CDS is a Medicaid-based program which provides in-home personal care attendant (PCA) services to individuals with disabilities. These services enable such individuals to live safely and independently in the familiar comfort of their own home instead of living in a restricted institutional environment. CDS gives you a voice in your own care.

CDS is a consumer-managed program. This means that you, the recipient of CDS, are the employer of your personal care attendant. You will interview and hire your own PCA. You can even choose a qualified friend or family member (with the exception of a spouse or anyone under 18). Qualified PCAs are required to be registered, screened, and employable pursuant to the Family Safety Care Registry, Employee Disqualification List, E-Verify, and applicable laws and regulations.

ALL YOURS files your federal and state employer taxes, does the payroll, and keeps track of your PCA’s work schedule.

Who Qualifies for CDS?

Individuals on Medicaid will need to meet Missouri Division of Senior and Disability Services (DSDS) requirements. DSDS will complete an assessment to determine the individual’s needs and forward a personalized care plan to ALL YOURS. Once a care plan is received, ALL YOURS will assist in hiring your chosen PCA for your needs.
